1. Why is the power not working?
Make sure the power supply cord is securely connected to the electrical outlet. Make sure the opposite end of the power supply cord is securely connected to the Freedom Machine. Next, press the red power button on the Freedom Machine control panel. The reading lights should turn on and illuminate the reading tray.
2. Why is the image out of focus?
The most common reason for a blurry or out-of focus image is caused by dust or debris on the camera's protective lens. Clean the protective lens with a non-abrasive lens cleaning towel.
3. Why is my reading table dim?
Make sure the Freedom Machine red power button is pressed inward and that the power supply is connected. Try turning on and off the Freedom Machine twice.
4. Why is my reading table not moving smoothly?
Position the braking levers so they are close together. Next, move the reading table in a small circular motion. If you can't move the table at all check to see if there is a small object obstructing the reading tables movement. If you are able to move the table, gradually make the circular motion larger. To lubricate the reading tables ball-bearings, use a non-corrosive lubrication.
5. Why is my reading table not locking?
Position the braking levers so they are far apart. This will lock the table. If the reading table is not locking, check to see if there is a small object obstructing the braking levers from locking the table. In a very slow motion, move the braking levers inward and outward two to three times.
6. Why is my image appearing dim on screen?
Turn the brightness button to maximum brightness.
7.Why is my monitor not moving smoothly?
Check the knob located behind the monitor. This is the tension knob that controls if the monitor is going the be stationary or going to be adjustable. Turn the knob to adjustable position and place your hands on the left and right side of the monitor. Try slowly moving the monitor downward and upward.
8. What does the mode control do?
The mode knob changes how the image appears on screen. The mode knob is designed to cycle through different polarities and false colors to create greater contrast on screen.
9. Will I ever need to replace the light bulbs?
The Freedom Machine uses LED (Light Emitting Diodes) for its lighting source. LED's are highly energy efficient and rated for over 150,000 hours of usage. Life-Time warranty on LED lighting.
10. What type of preventative maintenance should I do?
The Freedom Machine is design to be maintenance free and does not require a preventative maintenance program to sustain long term operation. We have products in successful operation today, that have not undergone any maintenance.
11. Should I leave my Freedom Machine on all day?
You can leave the Freedom Machine on for as long as you use it. Avoid, leaving the Freedom Machine on and unattended.
